Team Analysis: China

Lets analyze Team China, as you and I both know Team China won the gold medal on their home turf in Beijing 2008. But unfortunately, they had to end on their weakest events, and thats what x-ed them out for a spot on the podium.

Vault- This is the main thing that kept China from the podium. They have weak vaults, they only had one and a half twists. Sure, Yao did a double twist, but that was only one gymnast. The rest were doing singles or one and a halves. If China wants to medal ahead of Romania in Rio they need to get their gymnasts doing doubles, and maybe even some hard non-Yurchenko vaults.

Bars- This is where China truly shines. They have the 2008 Olympic Gold Medalist He Kexin, and then many champions at many competitions after and before that. The most recent Worlds that were won were won by Huang Huidan and Yao Jinnan in 2013 and 2014 respectively. China is a true pedigree on this event. They have great handstands, releases, transitions, ever. The Chinese are truly known for their uneven bars routines.

Beam- The Chinese treat the balance beam as if it was a sidewalk! They have amazing technique on this event, and great tumbling, They have perfect pointed toes on everything they do, its just a great event for Team China. The world knows it.

Floor- The Chinese have low difficulty here. They do not have the hardest tumbling, but once again, they have great technique. The Chinese get their scores through execution. The Chinese are also great dancers on floor.

Well I hope that you understand the Chinese Team Better now that you have a general overview of their events.
