Remembering: Christy Henrich

Christy Henrich............Her gymnastics were amazing,  she revolutionized gymnastics, adding the exact amount of artistry, grace, and power, the perfect mixture for gymnastics, she trained at GAGE, one of the best  coached gymnastics clubs in the country. She was an amazing athlete, notice the word "was" I am not just saying that because she is retired, but because she is dead. After a judge told her she was too fat, this happened at an international meet in 1889. This was blunt. He told her "You are fat, lose weight" This damaged Christy's self-esteem, and she began to starve herself. Christy died from Anorexia nervosa, and we lost a great gymnast. The anorexia got so bad that it started to affect her heart. We lost Christy because of multiple organ problems, just after her 22nd birthday. So, thanks to that judge, Christy died. If I were the cops, I would have charged judgey there for murder, because it was his fault that Christy died! But, I wasn't alive then so..... yeah. But, the gymnastics community found a way to get rid of that nasty judge. FIRE HIM! Justice! Anyway, with the death of such an amazing gymnast, Christy left a bigger mark: She changed the way of how judges viewed the sport, with her death, the judges and officials decided to keep an eye on both judges, and the gymnast who they talked to.
